Squire Protector
The Squire Paramount U-lock
(picture) is one of the strongest bicycle
locks on the marked. The Norwegian Insurance Companies have
tested and recommended the lock.
Specifications
- 13 mm diameter hardened Boron ally steel shackle
gives a cropping resistance of 9 tonnes.

Tensile Pull
The Squire Paramount features a single, hardened solid steel
locking bolt. In a controlled test of 5 of the top selling
bicycle
locks on the UK marked only the Squire Protector survived a
tensile pull of more than 6,640 lbs. It took a tensile pull of
11,900 lbs to break the Squire lock.
Sawing
The Squire Paramount features a hardened solid steel locking
bolt
and hardened steel body. In a controlled test of 5 of the top
selling bicycle locks on the UK marked only the Squire
Paramount
survived sawing of more than 10 minutes. After 25 minutes
trying
to saw through the Squire lock the testers gave up.
Drilling
The Squire Paramount features a hardened steel key entry
plate. In
